The track will feature on Xander's new album, Upon A Different Shore.. It includes an eclectic mix of music, from Vaughan Williams to the Stranglers, and even a much more recent tune – Kygo’s Firestone which was a top ten hit in 2015. The album also features Xander's professional debut as an oboist.
He said:
On paper it looks like madness, but in reality I’m thrilled with the results. We had the idea to create beautiful soundscapes with textures of orchestra, acoustic instruments, voice and choirs to take the listener to somewhere quite magical… a different shore!The album will be released on 28th October, but you can get Without A Song right now on iTunes, Spotify, and all other usual outlets.
